London Beach Volley Club

Our friends over at the London Beach Volleyball Club have a mission we can really get behind:

“That all people wanting to play beach volleyball in Hackney
and throughout London have the opportunity to do so.”

We think they’re doing a great job promoting beach volleyball to the community through coaching and competitive opportunities and their value of fostering social inclusion. One problem they’ve encountered (and they’re not alone), however, is a shortage of courts to meet demand. Continue reading

PHOTOSYNTH TOUR OF THE EPICENTER

Photosynth Tour of Epicenter
The image links  will take you to the photosynth of the Epicenter / Center Court Volleyball facility in Waukesha, WI (US).

The Epicenter was Kevin Quincey’s first project in building a large volleyball centre. It featured 8 indoor courts (with sport court flooring), 9 outdoor sand courts, a banquet hall seating more than 100 people, and two pubs. It is the largest facility in the Midwest US, one of the largest in the country, and regional centre for all USA Volleyball tournaments and many other events. Continue reading
